I have been needle felting for about 9 years, on and off and I am self taught so have made plenty of mistakes over the years which allowed me to learn and progress and improve.

I am extremely lucky to live and work in the north east of the Cairngorm National Park, Scotland. The landscape is stunning and the wildlife is absolutely amazing. As you may have noticed I LOVE HARES! they are such magical and beautiful creatures and I get to see them almost every day just outside my door! They have inspired me over the years to create my sculptures.
Although I could make Hares all day long I do make other animals as well!!

So...about my creations. My sculptures are Needle felted from predominantly British wool. I can't say 100% because people sometimes give me wool from their failed attempts at a project... so I do not know where the wool originated from. 
The majority of my wool is either local fleeces , straight off the sheep, from my neighbouring farmers or bought in wool.
If I buy wool I always buy British Wool, this is generally Jacobs and Shetland wool as there is a lovely range of colours available.
