Portrait of a Mountain Hare
Portrait of a Mountain Hare as it changes into its white winter coat. The Mountain Hare is native to the British Isle and can be found in mountainous area like the Cairngorms.
I have been lucky enough to see a few Mountain Hares whilst out in the hills of Northern Scotland. Smaller than the Brown Hare but just as stunning.
My 2D picture is created from Shetland wool fibres, needle felted onto a pale blue woollen fabric . Framed with a mid grey mount ready to display. The frame can be wall hung or free standing.
