Shetland Sheep

I use Sheltand wool in all my creations. It is a beautiful, soft fibre so what better tribute to the wonderful wool  than a portrait of a Shetland Sheep. The Shetland sheep breed comes in a vast range of colours and markings, too many to mention here.

This 2D needle felted picture is part of my series wooden hoop animal art. Needle felted from Shetland wool on to a Autumn Tartan woollen Fabric. Mounted in a  wooden hoop, with a wire on the back ready to hang on the wall.

Hoop Diameter: 16cms ( approx 6")

Handmade in Scotland using British wools, a beautiful and versatile fibre that is under used.  An eco friendly option for Christmas.
